I'm 23 year old American from Southern California. I'm picking up my life and moving to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This blog will share all the nitty grittys with you.

it's for life now.
As you know, I'm a big fan of getting things permanently etched into my skin, aka; tattoos. So, here's the latest and greatest addition. The symbol for vegan/vegetarianism.
For me, Veganism is a life long commitment and I'm proud of myself and everyone else who around me who's made the lifestyle choice. (I still love you if you haven't though.)
Anyway, on that note... I made some bomb vegan cookies yesterday. Thanks to Post Punk Kitchen. They're "Mexican Hot Chocolate Snickerdoodles." The part that caught my eye was that they are made with the following awesome ingredients.
*Organic Cocoa Powder (Mmm cocoa.)
*Pure Canadian Maple Syrup (Take that, Aunt Jemima)
*Cayenne Pepper (!!??)
Overall, I really liked them. They were pretty cake-like, which I personally enjoy more so than crunchy. It was like eating a brownie with a kick of spicy. I'm all about spicy food, so that was rad. The best part is, they literally took 20 minutes to make... total. Including bake time. How rad is that?

So, does that mean no more sushi dates with your brother?
ReplyDeleteNot necessarily, I would just need to make sure they have some kind of veggie roll. :)
